Glimpses of Hong Kong

In Hong Kong the number of tall modern buildings are so many that it seems impossible to take a picture of any place without interference of another structure. I tried and I failed. I am going to live with it. I have taken some lovely shots with reflection but will keep them for another post.

In my free time I decided to travel to Hong Kong island and visit 3 places

  • The Victoria Peak
  • Man Mo Temple
  • Zoological and Botanical gardens

I took the peak tram to go up and bus number 15 to come back to town. The Victoria peak is a typical tourist spot. From the top one gets nice view of Hongkong island and of Kowloon side. It was a warm day with clouds.

Then I visited the 150 years old Man Mo temple. A small temple premises near the hectic financial district. The giant hanging incense coils are very special.

Finally I visited the zoological and botanical garden to take some rest and fresh air.

This is my fourth post on Hong Kong trip! The earlier posts are just a click away!
