With so much snow all around and the garden beds are still covered with winter mulch and pine branches. I was surprised to see first sign of spirng.
Eranthis hyemalis is a species of flowering plant in the buttercup family Ranunculaceae, native to calcareous woodland habitats in France, Italy and the Balkans and widely naturalised elsewhere in Europe.
