Weekend 82: Midnight walk

To walk in nature is to witness a thousand miracles ~Mary Davis

July is the month of midnight sun in Norway. Due to the high mountains we do not experience the fantastic view of sunset – sunrise but anyways it doesn’t get dark at night in late june and july.

Here are some images from our late night walk along the river yesterday. It was very warm during day but extremely pleasant at night 😀

How are you spending your weekend?

  1. Thank you for sharing such beauty from your late night walk, Rupali! What smiles you bring! 🙂 And that quote is so true! 🙂
I would miss the night, moon, and stars if they didn’t come to visit me every night. 😦
I’m putting the whee! in the weekend again! Ha! 😀 We are having a good balance of rest, fun, and chores!
    HUGS!!! 🙂

    1. Thank you Carolyn. I am so glad you like the photos.
It’s not easy but not so difficult to cope with circumstances.
In winter we have no guarantee to see the moon and the stars as it rains a lot 😀

  2. Such a stunning collection, so difficult to imagine this is night time!
We may have a more temperate climate but we have distinct night and day 24/7 🙂
My weekend was a mix of chores, contemplation and wild electrical storms …

  4. We visited Scotland in the summer many years ago and were so surprised at how light it was very late at night. Your photos are so beautiful. I, too, have been doing night walks around my new neighborhood and am enjoying seeing things in a different light. Enjoy your walks!
