It is always the same. Whether you are walking or going by train, the way always seems shorter the second time than the first. (And that is true of distances that are not to be measured in miles and yards.) ~
We’re constantly changing facts, rewriting history to make things easier, to make them fit in with our preferred version of events. We do it automatically. We invent memories. Without thinking. If we tell ourselves something happened often enough we start to believe it, and then we can actually remember it.~ Before I Go to Sleep)
“For a while” is a phrase whose length can’t be measured. At least by the person who’s waiting.~ South of the Border, West of the Sun)
I think that’s what we all want, in the end.
To know that we left footprints when we passed by, however briefly.
We want to be remembered.
So remember us.
Please.
Remember us.~ Human.4)
During our visit to Stockholm, we walked around certain areas many times and enjoyed it thoroughly. I sincerely hope to get second chance to visit this beautiful city again. I would love to take some better pictures.
Those are breathtaking shots Rupali
