To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting an ordinary place… I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.~ Elliott Erwitt

I agree with Amy’s point that as a tourist most of the time we have few minutes to caputre a scene under the sun. As a frequent traveller (pre covid 🤦‍♀️) I had faced similar situations and with restricted time in hand I have never said no to a tour to a wonderful place even though I know my limitations as a photographer. Visiting and enjoying places matter more than missing the chance for photo quality.

For now stay safe and healthy.

  1. Such beautiful captures! Some scenes leave us astounded and I have run into my share of sights that have left me spellbound and acutely aware of my limited photography skills.
A quote by Ansel Adams comes to mind- “When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence.”
Stay safe and take care! 🙂
