When you do things from your soul, you feel a river moving in you, a joy ~Rumi

It is the life of the crystal, the architect of the flake, the fire of the frost, the soul of the sunbeam. This crisp winter air is full of it ~John Burroughs

What keeps earth air breathable? Not oxygen alone. The earth is a freer place to breathe in, every time you love without calculating a return — every time you make your drudgeries and routines still more inefficient by stopping to experience the shock of beauty wherever it unpredictably flickers ~ Peter Viereck

Thanks for spending time on the post. I like to take walk in nature and it is beautiful these days even if it is quite cold.

Such beauty in painful cold, the ice and snow so powerful and yet so delicate.

The opening image is so serene … ahhhhh. For me, the most stunning image are the close up of the snow crystals below the Burroughs quote. Well done!

THE most stunningly beautiful photos, Rupali!
You’ve captured the uniqueness of winter!
Your choice of quotes are always so inspiring!
That Rumi quote is one that I think of…and remind myself that whatever is going on the river within us can flow freely, powerfully.

I got that quote beacause there is literally a river below the mass of the snow in the first picture 😊

Thank you Lakshmi akka. Those are winter red berries. I don’t know the name but they are quite popular in this region.

Such stunning photography Rupali! I often think I would like to live in a snowy climate, or at least spend quite some time. I am not so sure how the reality would actually suit me. We had such cold nights and days here recently considering it is the middle of summer, temps as low as 5dC /41dF overnight and 12dC/53dF on Saturday! Very bizarre. At least with all the wind we have had some rain which has put more water in my rain tanks.
Your photos seem to create a magical scene for my Aussie eyes.

That is really cold for a summer day. I am sure rain will help your garden and the chickens will get many insects to enjoy. Take care.
Thanks for your support Tazzie.

Beautiful moments from your walk! I don’t know if it feels like that while walking out in the ❄️🥶 but from where I am, it provides such a comfortable sight to view, we don’t see any snow right? The last time we saw a lot of snow was in an artificial snow park in Hyderabad 😁

And I never know snowflakes can actually be seen like in the 4 th picture, I thought you see that under a microscope 😇 this one is wonderful, thanks so much Rupali!

This is the best I could manage with my simple mobile. Standing in the cold and removing gloves when it is around -10 degree C is quite difficult.
Thank you so much Deb. I really appreciate.
