Wow – beautiful but dangerous as well. One of my last outdoor bicycle rides was on a road like that. Challenging and a little scary but also beautiful. (The good news was that it was a road that motor vehicles were banned from so my only risk was of falling and with a helmet and going slow that was minor and didn’t hurt too much!)
Yes – I have some decent tires for snow but no studs for ice – really they’re not necessary for trips to the store and the like. But trail rides are a different thing entirely.
slush plus, take care!

We are using spikes on our shoes right from 2nd of January and I had to get a new one as the old ones are worn out. They are all flat😃
It will take some time to get used to the new ones but they are such help.
Thanks Kate.

Wow what a picture, Rupali. One would break their bones walking on such a road.

I guess one would not be able to walk this walk if they are not born and brought up here or if do not have spikes or ice grippers on their shoes.
Thanks dear Kamal.

I should say so. Time to put on the ice grippers. Or, as you suggested, just stay the heck off that road.

More like skate along 🙂

The skating rings shouls be maintained. It’s dangerous for skating as the surface is not smooth enough.
Thanks Paul.

Yes, the last time I visited somewhere where there was ice I involuntarily skated a few times.

We often see cyclist on other roads, usually its parents taking kids back from school or to training but they have winter tyres.
You take care Todd.
