The landscape affects the human psyche – the soul, the body and the innermost contemplations – like music. Every time you feel nature deeper you resonate better with her, finding new elements of balance and freedom ~ Nikos Kazantzakis
These landscapes images are taken during our walks in Covid lockdown. We tried to be in nature as much as possible irrespective of the weather. I say it again and again, “Nature never ceases to amaze me”.
Stay safe, healthy and be kind.
Beautiful. 🖤🙏

Yes the light in autumn is more golden but in winter the effect is bluish due to snow and blue skies, may be.

could be and that’s why the bluish tone is hypnotic to me 🙂

I have noticed this while taking pictures. A little change in my position changes the colour and the effect.

One of the very few benefits of this pandemic has been how it has made me appreciate nature so much more. It’s always there, no matter what craziness is going on in the world, and there’s something so comforting about that.

You are right, it’s always there but mostly due to lockdown we got ample of time to spend and appreciate what is so close to us.

We also happened to experience some of the beauties of not just several small towns, but also cities. Although it was all virtual during the lockdown, but they were just stunning and actually we never knew that they were this beautiful. So even I feel for every sorrow that comes, there is always a beauty of joy.

We tend to learn when time comes. I think that’s human nature and that’s how we have survived so long on this planet of ours 😊
Thanks Reena. I hope you are doing good.

Wonderful post and yes, we’ve experienced COVID and practiced patience in all seasons now. I wonder if the title is a play on the movie title, ‘Love In The Time of Cholera’.

Nature has provided us with so much love, care and nourishment of both body and mind but what could we give to mother nature in return? We could give her nothing but bruises and black eyes. We have abused her enough for her to withdraw her love and the Covid situation was just a warning!
And those pictures are amazing!!
