These images were taken at the Grand-Place or the central square of the City of Brussels during our last trip in 2019. The Grand-Place is considered as one of the most beautiful places of the world.
Brussels is also known as the “Chocolate Capital of the World”.

The last time i was in Brussels, right in that same Square, we had some food from one of the food stalls. I walked down a lane and found an amazing chocolatier, and bought about fifty dollars worth of different chocolates. For some reason I turned around, and I saw in one of the glass containers, a magnificent paper weight in cranberry cut glass. I told the lady I wanted that and she packed it for me. I was so excited with it, that after paying for it I walked out holding it in my hand. Only on our way back in the bus I realized that I had left the large bag of chocolates behind. GAAAHHH! I was distraught. It has been many years, and I cannot forget it… and i haven’t been to Brussels again.

Oh my, now that is a loss…. not money but the variety. The lane with chocolate shops is like from a fairy tale especially during autumn late night. Thanks a lot 🙏

Rupali, the light on these buildings is amazing. Buildings are hard to photograph in their entirety during daylight, but even more so at night. These are fabulous photos.
