Weekend 125 – We are trying to resume our walk routines which is not easy after being away for a couple of weeks. Moreover when the change is temperature is from +32 degrees to +2 and from sunny settings to dull, cold, wet and dark days. I am finding it difficult even to be on wordpress. Why? Does anyone have an answer 🧐
Anyways, we did find some sunny period during the day and off we go to our usual hiking start.
I am joining these fantastic ladies for
Jos Monday Walk
Robin’s Walktober
Debbie’s Six Word Saturday
Stay safe and be kind
Beautiful photos. Where did you vacation? Wonderful vistas.

stunning shots, that’s very cold for me but still stunning countryside before the snow fall. It’s always difficult settling after a break … many are struggling to be on WP and have taken long breaks.
I think it might be the emotional toll of our world situation, less interaction so less to post about. Doesn’t really matter why but take a break if you need it, we’ll still be here

your photos bring us much joy … so maybe post less often or leave the comments closed like you did while travelling … but ultimately follow your heart 🙂

Will follow your advice as I shall be away for seminars and a conference in November.😀
Thanks Kate.

Thank you so much for your support, Kate. 🙏 You are right about the relation between interaction and posting. I spent some time thinking about if I have anything good enough to be included in the post.
During my time in India I was busy with chores giving me less time to travel for photography.

usually the way when travelling large distances to visit family, they come first … often when I visited my mother I seldom got out of the house … she was housebound so I spent time with her there!

Wowwww! Norway just jumped a couple spots on our bucket list! We’ve got to get there to see the whole picture of these snapshots.
I agree with Calmkate, if you need a break, enjoy it. But a couple shots like these each week will satisfy your followers!
As for “cold, wet and dark days,” who says they have to be dull!? Those are the days I really enjoy. 😉

And these are the days when I can concentrate on my work since I know it’s not the best time to take pictures 😀
I can assure you to find many quiet and beautiful places in Norway.

Thank you for sharing the beauty you see with us! It brings us joy!
I’m so glad you blog! Getting back into a routine takes some time. But you will find your blogging sweet spot. 🙂
I used to blog 3 times a week…then it became once a week…lately it’s 2 or 3 times a month. Life is just busy for me. I find the once a week usually works for me and it good for me. And I hope what I share is good for my friends/readers. 🙂 I’ve thought several times this past year about stopping blogging altogether, but so far I’m still here. Been on WP since Feb 2012. 🙂 Was on Xanga for years before that. 🙂
(((HUGS))) ❤ 🙂

You obviously went somewhere hot, Rupali, and when you can only do that for 2 weeks and then come back to cold it’s not an easy adjustment. We did it for a lot of years, before we moved here. Thanks, hon!

Nice. Our daughter and family are coming end of December for twenty days. They last came in 2019. Her children have summer vacations from July end, for six weeks. If they don’t come now they will have to wait till then. Our son-in-law’s parents live in Bangalore. They will divide their time between both places. We grandparents are waiting 😁

beautiful pictures of a beautiful land where you live. Different in many ways from the land that you lived before, but beautiful nevertheless. Each land has its own beauty, and it is up to the photographer, to bring it close to our hearts.

It is always so hard to get back to routine after a trip away! Sometimes it takes me months or even years to get back to an exercise routine! In fact, you are motivating me to start walking again. Now, if I can only go for a walk in Norway! We visited southern Norway in 2019, it was a fabulous trip!!! Such a pretty country, thank you for sharing!

Thank you so much for visiting my blog, Dawn. It’s good to know people hear what I mean.
And now you remind me to go on a walk/hike right now since it’s going to rain later. I am glad you have good memories from Norway.
