Prague is a beautiful city, spending a couple of days was not a big issue. We were not lucky enough to have sunny days but at least it was not snowing or raining 😁. That’s fair enough. We were saved from the first snow which they in the last week. Walking on cobblestone roads in snow wouldn’t be easy.

Approximately 5,400 people die each year from lung cancer in the Czech Republic. Lung cancer epidemiology and prevention is one of the top-priority health problems in the Czech Republic. The incidence is one of the highest in the world especially for males; in females it is continuously increasing. Primary prevention is available but difficult to implement, particularly non-smoking. Thank you for visiting my blog and appreciating my scheduled post early this week. I shall reply to comments and visit your blogs soon. Enjoy weekend.
It is so uncommon to encounter smokers in our culture that it is strange to think it is still a public thing elsewhere.

Even I have noticed the same. Thanks VJ.

love your shots, especially with that bridge in the background, one gets the idea of age and stability but the tabaco giants are ruthless … addiction is appalling. Pray they find a way forward soon 🙂

And then there are myths. Smoking helps in cold weather is one of them. Thanks Kate

Prague is one of the most beautiful cities we have visited in Europe. You had problem with smokers. When we went we were always warned about pick-pockets! A couple of friends encountered that.

Yes, I agree. We too have read about pick-pockets but didn’t notice any wrong event during our stay.

I’ve not been to Prague, but your photos reminded me strongly of Budapest.

Architecture of Budapest and Prague and other neighboring countries is very similar. Going through Budapest, Bratislava, Vienna and Prague reminded me of the balance of architectural similarities. Even though Bratislava is much more modernized, some of the buildings there have stamp of old Czechoslovakia.

Prague fits the definition of a weekend city break perfectly. There is always something more to see to make you want to come back.

A beautiful city. Very sorry about the prevalence of lung cancer. Years ago, it hit my family hard. A terrible way to die.

It was sad so see quite many young girls and boys into smoking. Thanks Laurie.

Beautiful photos. I love Prague. (Alcoholic lager, because of all the foam?)

Thanks John. Non alcoholic (or low 0.5%) lager on tap. I was surprised and happy

Magnificent shots, and yes it’s non-alcoholic beer because I know you never promote alcoholic/harmful things 😁
