Weekend 81

After yesterday’s heavy rain we decided not to walk on tough terrain today rather chose country side for our walk with some light hiking on asphalt roads. It was cloudy with just a few light showers and temperature was perfect for a walk and especially going up hill.

While passing by the river we saw a duck who was desperately looking for his/her mate. It was just yesterday when we noticed this pair for the first time. The river is not flooding but the amount of water is none the less. The duck was making some sound but we could only hear the loud sound of the river. We stopped and watched this wonderful drama of hide and seek and were glad to see the happy ending.  The river is full of fishes during this time of the year which might have brought this young couple to this place.

Routine travel shots

For Lens-artists-photo-challenge I shall share my routine travel shots though earlier I thought of sharing my captures at cafes in Malaga. oops cafe shots have to wait now 🙂

Yesterday I travelled again and I realized these images show “my” routine moments. I couldnot resist showing them again. Hope you enjoy them.

A book in hand but my eyes are looking out for such cosy settings.

Not all shots are perfect.

My routine mistake due the “speed”. 1/nth second late and the focus changes.

The trees and the small boats are my favourite subjects when watching reflections.

One might not find them great but these are my real routine moments 🙂

Seven Day Nature Photo Challenge: Day1

I have been nominated by blogger Becca Givens of “On Dragonfly Wings with Buttercup Tea” to participate in a challenge called  Seven Day Nature Photo Challenge. Becca is very creative and she likes to spread positive energy via two wonderful themes every week  Nurturing Thursday and Sunday Trees.

To participate in the game is like a chain reaction. The first part is to post one photo per day for seven days from “nature” and the second is to nominate a new blogger every day 🙂

To begin with, today I would like to nominate my blogger friend Vinayak of  Zero Creativity Learning to participate in the challenge and keep the flow going. I really hope he would accept it 🙂

Here is my first photo of the series 1/7.
