For Becca’s Nurturing Thursday!
Nature is one of the most underutilized treasures in life. It has the power to unburden hearts and reconnect to that inner place of peace ~ Janice Anderson
When weather forecast predicts a couple of hours of sunshine before a rainy week then the only smart choice is to go out and be in nature. I am presenting some of such precious moments.

I am not sure if it does work.
After a long, tough and busy week it’s Saturday. We planned a hike/walk, one of our favourite activities in the weekend. We started just after breakfast as the weather forecast in the afternoon was cold and rain. We enjoyed our time in woods. The wild flowers, butterflies, singing birds and the lovely smell from wild surroundings was a treat to both body and soul.
May your weekend be filled with positive thoughts, kind people and happy moments.
Every state of society is as luxurious as it can be. Men always take the best they can get. ~
I find luxury in every small moment of positivity!
- First and foremost is some Sunshine …Next
- Watching buds every season
- Capturing a good reflection.
- Going on a hike
- Staying at a comfortable place while travelling ( these images are from Madrid trip).
After all it’s “luxury” to be alive and contended.

When you rise in the morning, give thanks for the light, for your life, for your strength. Give thanks for your food and for the joy of living. If you see no reason to give thanks, the fault lies in yourself ~Tecumseh
There are so many macro moments everyday that I am grateful for.
And then I am super grateful for a milestone.
Chains do not hold a marriage together. It is threads, hundreds of tiny threads, which sew people together through the years ~ Simone Signoret
Yesterday we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary in our own special way with a hike and a fantastic picnic. The weather supports us too.
Recently I have posted various daffodils but taken in past years. Tomorrow I am planning to visit the arboretum to see how the flowers are coming up. We are enjoying sun for last two days.
I got very busy today and after working for 6 straight hours I decided to go on hiking 😀 . I know for some it might sounds crazy but for us it’s quite natural. When the weather is good we love to be outside. When in Rome ++.
I wanted to enjoy sun but not interested in stairs, so hiked (one way) around 7.5 km and up to elevation 568 m (8.5% inclination). Up on the mountains it was fantastic. There were people but not crowded, not like weekends. I found a nice bench and read a few pages from “Cider with Rosie”, relaxed for about 20 min then came back. Now I am tired.
It’s time for yoga stretches and a good sleep. Will check the comments and blogs tomorrow.
Have a fantastic weekend.
You choose where you put the energy of your attention. Energy flows where attention goes~ Robert
Covering a distance of 12 km and going up around 650 m is not an easy task but at the same time it’s not an impossible task either. Just matter of preparing well.
Learning to be happy and contented is not an impossible task. Start counting your blessings.
We all have abilities to channel our energy. Let us make a habbit of being positive and remove all the negativity from our lives.
