Weekend 83: Hiking what else

Nature is one of the most underutilized treasures in life. It has the power to unburden hearts and reconnect to that inner place of peace ~ Janice Anderson

When weather forecast predicts a couple of hours of sunshine before a rainy week then the only smart choice is to go out and be in nature. I am presenting some of such precious  moments.

Trees

Trees are poems that earth writes upon the sky, We fell them down and turn them into paper, That we may record our emptiness ~Khalil Gibran

“Trees”is one of my favourite topics and hence for len-artists -photo-challenge this week,  I decided to take a walk/hike to present latest images of trees.  I used less than 2 hours to cover 9 km distance and 400 m altitude. Good for me.

And now some interesting facts

Weekend 82: Midnight walk

To walk in nature is to witness a thousand miracles ~Mary Davis

July is the month of midnight sun in Norway. Due to the high mountains we do not experience the fantastic view of sunset – sunrise but anyways it doesn’t get dark at night in late june and july.

Here are some images from our late night walk along the river yesterday. It was very warm during day but extremely pleasant at night 😀
