Weekend 83: Hiking what else

Nature is one of the most underutilized treasures in life. It has the power to unburden hearts and reconnect to that inner place of peace ~ Janice Anderson

When weather forecast predicts a couple of hours of sunshine before a rainy week then the only smart choice is to go out and be in nature. I am presenting some of such precious  moments.

Macro Monday: A special one

When you rise in the morning, give thanks for the light, for your life, for your strength. Give thanks for your food and for the joy of living. If you see no reason to give thanks, the fault lies in yourself ~Tecumseh

There are so many macro moments everyday that I am grateful for.

And then I am super grateful for a milestone.

Chains do not hold a marriage together. It is threads, hundreds of tiny threads, which sew people together through the years ~ Simone Signoret

Yesterday we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary in our own special way with a hike and a fantastic picnic. The weather supports us too.

You cannot touch the same water twice

And I say No two springs are the same.

Spring the season.

For Weekend 74, I am presenting images from earlier springs. This year the wet and cold weather didn’t allow the crouses to fully bloom and so far I haven’t seen a bee. It snowed for last two days and temperature is around zero.  Time to enjoy images from archives 😀

Hope you all are having relaxing weekend.

Dramatic cityscapes of Hong Kong

I wandered everywhere, through cities and countries wide. And everywhere I went the world was on myside ~Unknown

Here I am walking on streets of Hong Kong- the main island and Kowloon to get the feel of this city with such dramatic and compact skyscapers.

Victoria peak is a tourist favourite place to capture the beautiful cityscape of Hong Kong. Sadly the occasional smog obscure the view.

My Monday walk: Nothing so special

I happened to go on a light hike/walk today, which resulted in my first ever contribution to Jo’s Monday walk. Usually I go on hikes/walks on weekends and record them in my weekend posts. The weather and heavy brainstormming at work persued me to use my office training time for a short hike.

It is obligatory to take at least one picture from the top. Do you see a big cruise ship?
