The Vigeland Park, Oslo
The Vigeland Park is the world’s largest sculpture park made by a single artist, and is one of Norway’s most popular tourist attractions. The park is open to visitors all year round.
The unique sculpture park is Gustav Vigeland’s lifework with more than 200 sculptures in bronze, granite and wrought iron. Vigeland was also in charge of the design and architectural layout of the park. The Vigeland Park was mainly completed between 1939 and 1949.
What a cool place, Rupali! I wish I visited there when I toured Norway (we didn’t stop for long.) Maybe next time… Thanks for sharing.

oh Rupali you have made my day! I fell in love with this park and took many photos one very cold and slushy winter decades ago … I have tried to google it but never knew the name so now I have it and your more professional shots of old age and death … love them all, what a talent and a magnificent feature for a family park!

Decades ago, wow! Yes this is a very popular family place. Great for walks and even relaxing on grass. And thanks for appreciating my images.
