  1. I like the poem and the photo is really lovely. It reminds me of where I grew up where there were so many birch trees. It brought back a sensory memory – not just the sight of these trees but the feel and smell of them. Thanks for posting this.

  2. Perfect poem and photo duo…and your poem is so poignant and powerful.
    Yes, if trees could talk they would have so much to share.
    And so many people have marks and scars inside and out…and many have not had the courage yet to share their stories. 😦
    I’ve lived my life just assuming all people have pain we know nothing about. And when we take the time to talk to them, and truly get to know them, we find out. Some of the kindest, most empathetic, most joyful, people I’ve met carry the greatest pain.

      I am not a writer, I just wanted to say something about the tree. In last couple of days was talking to some introverts and those lines came to my mind.
