I like the poem and the photo is really lovely. It reminds me of where I grew up where there were so many birch trees. It brought back a sensory memory – not just the sight of these trees but the feel and smell of them. Thanks for posting this.
It truly is. I ride or run through them and am so happy. With the reduced traffic now the smell of the forest overwhelms the smell of the traffic instead of the other way around.
Perfect poem and photo duo…and your poem is so poignant and powerful.
Yes, if trees could talk they would have so much to share.
And so many people have marks and scars inside and out…and many have not had the courage yet to share their stories. 😦
I’ve lived my life just assuming all people have pain we know nothing about. And when we take the time to talk to them, and truly get to know them, we find out. Some of the kindest, most empathetic, most joyful, people I’ve met carry the greatest pain.

You are very kind dear Carolyn.
Actually all those who appreciated the lines are very kind to me.
Thanks a lot.
I am not a writer, I just wanted to say something about the tree. In last couple of days was talking to some introverts and those lines came to my mind.
So cool you have a series dedicated to the trees 🙂 have a great week, PedroL

Thank you so much dear Kate.
It was not meant to be so serious. I wanted to say something about recent situations.
