A journey called blog

I started this blog almost 3 years ago. The crude idea was to pen down my thoughts in my mother tongue “marathi”. Marathi is an Indo-Aryan language and is the official language of the state Maharashtra (Mumbai/Bombay is the capital) in India.

It was a big step for me to express my thoughts in public as I am not a writer and never had such a dream. Moreover I wanted to do it in my mother tongue, strange but I have never learned it in school as I was born and brought up in another state. It was an experiment and I wanted to try this new journey of “blogging”.

Here is my first post expressing my dilemma

माझे e- पुराण!!!!!

Now, about the title, what does it mean, “माझे = my” + “e=electronic” + “पुराण= text or thought”.

After spending sometime in the blogging world, I got interested in photography. Like writing it was not on my horizon in distant past but slowly I developed interest. Recently I a friend of mine made a joke, saying I am distracting away from writing and taking photography more seriously. 🙂 Isn’t it common when we have multiple hobbies.

Along this journey of blogging I have made good friends and learned variety of things. Though my hobbies are unrelated to what I do for my bread and butter, I enjoy both. Officially or as written on certificates, I am highly educated but I am more happy about the “finishing” part than the title itself. No misunderstanding please, it was my choice and I achieved it.
