“A picture is worth a thousand words”
Every photo no matter how minimal, contains at least one story. Let us imagine and share our versions…
- No window or door reveal the degree of happiness…
2. Illusion…
3. Life beings…
4. Every nest is special…
5. Every pinch of pink gulal powder on the holy basil portrays a personal wish .
6. Age doesn’t matter, Attitude does…
I wanted to show the story/circle of life. What do you think about these images
Images excellent as usual. It doesn’t look as if a very happy Life begins 🙂

Hahaha, I am sure all was fine. The newlywed might be tired after all the rituals. They were visiting a local temple for blessings.
Thank you Derrick.

Thank you Ajay for your kind words. I feel like what we see might not be true all the time and that’s what give chance for wonderful stories 🙂

Life is a collection of varied images, some clear, some blur and some to be remembered and some to be best forgotten, but the ones you strive to take and have taken are to be treasured!

Thanks Sunith. You always have perfect set of words. One thing I am glad about human memory is the ability to forget. Otherwise instead of looking forward we would have seen people crying for the past 🙂 Although there are always some around us.

Yes true that Rupali. Since we do not have a photographic memory of good long years it is always best to capture them in film.

It’s a sign of our existence to be curious about things we see, listen, feel or smell.
I was thinking about degree of happiness in various families with different means . Then one time I saw a lovely flower in a luxuries flat on 52nd floor and the same type of flower in a broken pot in a very simple house. I realize happiness has nothing to do with status.
Thanks Carolyn for taking interest.

Oh, so very true! 🙂
I grew up very poor, but we always had a garden of vegetables, fruit trees, and flowers growing. It was a joy to tend to them and enjoy what they brought forth. 🙂

Thank you so much Brenda. I began to write the post with the same photo and add others eventually. I wanted to convey that we can be helpful to society irrespective of our age.

All of them are beautiful. I like the very idea of presenting different emotions through pictures. Pictures 3, 4 and 5 are special ones. Just beautiful expression (in the pictures 3 and 4, while in the descriptive expression in 5). Keep it up.

Thanks Subbashini. The words were my version of story, in reality it may be totally different.

I loved the first picture – it is so reflective of our skewed versions of reality. And of course the nest – no matter how helpless we may be we can always be of help to another! Great job Rupali

Yes Dahlia, it is the basic reason of selecting the first image. Thinking about the nest, a luxurious penthouse and a house with basic ameneties happiness of offspring depends on coordination between fahter and mother 🙂
