Still a lovely photo. I did wonder if it wasn’t fully current as I took a photo a couple of nights ago of a beautiful moon over our city and it was a crescent.
Also Florence – what a wonderful place to go for a break!
Oh wow! I had no idea the timing with the moon but of course that makes sense and explains a little why the day moves here and there relative to the western calendar. Thanks for the new info!
OOH, I love the moon! What a stunning portrait! So cool how you used the clouds and trees as the frame…so the moon could be center stage, in the spotlight!
The moon talks to me every night on my late night walk. 🙂
(((HUGS))) 🙂
I need to learn so many things from your dear Carolyn. I should be alone on some of my walks I mena leaving my husband and camera behind. And then I can have some conversation with “moon” 🙂
Thanks and a warm hug.
The moon always looks so beautiful this time of year. Nice capture!

Oops. Sorry for the confusion. This was taken last year during Easter break in Florence.
Thanks Todd.

Diwali is on no moon night 🙂
The reason to lit lots and lots of lamps and celebrate.
Thanks Todd.

Fine but was quite busy due to work.
Didn’t manage to spend time on WP for a couple of days, just now have started checking blogs 🙂

I know but I do it to refresh myself. Temperature is quite low and roads are not walkable.
Have a fantastic weekend, Kate.
