Fences and Beyond

It’s hard to find any special fences in the country side. In my neighbourhood we have almost no fences. At some places shrubs are used as partial hedging. Near farms we see temporary fences in spring and summer when the livestock are taken out of the barn and are kept near house before sending them to feed in the forests and the mountains.

Love recognizes no barriers. It jumps hurdles, leaps fences, penetrates walls to arrive at its destination full of hope ~Maya Angelou

I was amazed at there were almost no fences on the Northern Limestone Alps in Innsbruck, Austria. There were many trails but this was the only fence/railing I found. One is responsible their own safety.

I found my old post on “fences” 😊

Emotionally….I always find bridges better than walls or fences.

PS…People sometimes spend their lives on the safe side of the fence. In doing so, they miss out on so many wonders in life. The fence is the limits you place on yourself; the boundaries you have put in place; and the restrictions you placed upon yourself. “Throw your heart over the fence and the rest will follow.” ~ Norman Vincent Peale
